Deus Ex French Patch

Presentation:
This patch is intended for the installation of a revised and corrected version of the French texts and subtitles. It will also be useful for the original French version which has a series of errors (See below).

CD version: Compatible, but first apply the official 1.112fm patch.
Steam, GOG and GotY version: Compatible!
Deus Ex Revision Version: Now compatible with Revision 1.7.3.1 but some parts of the game remain in English, especially the whole conversation system if you choose to play with a female character of Denton.

The work has been done on the English version of Deus Ex. If you have encountered any problems with other languages, please let me know so that I may update this patch as soon as possible. Please use the Contact section.

Security:
This patch was entirely written in Autolt v3, Autolt is certified by Softpedia as being free of spyware/adware/viruses. However, some cases of false positives can be reported, especially from Windows 10 (Windows Defender), ArcaVir and VBA32.

Correctly displayed in Level 5 but another picture had to be displayed in Level 6. Buggy because the description was the same as the Level 5. Fixed by using the "HK MJ12 Laboratories" description instead in Level 6. Thanks to Hawk from Caustic Creative for the tip!

Beta 2 release of the 1.4 Deus Ex French Patch which now supports Deus Ex: Revision 1.1.1, very similar to the previous patch but fixes a character inversion (â/Â) and two errors in the Deus Ex conversation system (Original and Revision) thanks to Walter37. The two corrected errors are the use of the French word "amie" for Toby Atanwe (instead of the word "ami") and a duplicated replica from a technician in the Paris Metro. Other micro-corrections proposed by Walter37 concerning the formulation of certain replicas are made for the Revision version only.

Please note that some contents and menus could not be translated at this time because the mod is still in development by Caustic Creative. Please note too that the subtitles in the intro cutscene have been overwritten by the mod developing team credits. Future releases planned for the next versions of Deus Ex: Revision!

Please note finally that the patch corrects the glossary problem "low"; "medium" ; "high" for the decals an textures quality selection, old known bug since the release of Deus Ex in French in 2000. Fixed for both the original title of Deus Ex and Revision.

Another bug like the Paris cathedral was found, but this time it was at the gas station. The conversation voices were inverted between JC and Sandra Renton, the file "DeusExConAudioMission12.u" was added to the patch to resolve the problem. For those who used the 1.1c patch, you will have to load a gamesave just prior to this point, namely the Vandenberg complex. The patch is now compatible with Kentie’s tools. All French texts now come from the official patch 1.112fm (FR) and a series of micro-corrections have been applied (like the two examples above).

A major bug was discovered by Raptor, thanks to him. Though the voices are in English in all the versions of Deus Ex, it seems that the order of the conversation differs slightly. Only one case has been identified however, it is situated at the Paris cathedral. The bug is caracterized by a non-correspondence between the subtitles and the conversations. The file "DeusExConAudioMission11.u" was added to the patch to resolve the problem. For those who used the 1.1 patch, you will have to load a gamesave just prior to this point, namely the Duclare Castle.

Correction of two translation errors: namely "Recommencer" has been replaced by "Nouvelle partie" and "healed 1 point" by "1 point restauré".
